Scenery, Sculptures and Murals

Phil worked on several of the large gorilla statues that adorned Norwich streets during 2013. The project involved working closely with Break Charity, Wild in Art and the Born Free Foundation, but also working closely with local businesses. Phil created a Norwich City Football Club gorilla for Anglian Windows, a hairy one for Ridgeons and a beautiful chrome covered one for Smith and Pinching, Mogo for Moco Developments and a Referee for the Norfolk FA.
This art created a beautiful colourful sight on the streets for everyone to enjoy, as well as raising money for people in real need.

Street Sculpture Art

Phil Daniels Artist gorilla "Yo'man the Yeoman" for Break Charities gogogorillas project Yo'man the Yeoman was done for Break and Wild in Art, it went on to raise lots of funds for people at auction. Yo'man was one of several gorillas, some of which used a special technique and medium organised especially for the designs. It allowed Phil to create an acutal real hair type texture that had a good sense of realism. One of the gorillas was covered in the product from head to toe and was actually a little scary to see.

Phil Daniels Artist completes a floor mural for xleisure and for Break Charities gogogorillas project Phil can produce superb scene art, 3D style street art, murals and graffiti such as the images demonstrated at a recently completed contract for XLeisure and their complex at Riverside Norwich with another artist. Working to very tight time frames the artwork was designed, completed and fitted on site within 7 days.
Using exterior mediums, including varnishes, the quality of the finish ensures the art lasts and is effective for the customer. This style of artwork is carried out using airbrushes and large spray equipment.

Additional artwork was completed within 24 hours to the customers request using a mixture of mural and graffiti work to the wall behind the cars.
The launch evening was a great success, due in part to the excellent artwork and the creation of atmosphere and a 1950's environment.
